TBDSister Soul Care: A Retreat Rooted in REST
Hosted By: Coco Womb Wellness + Mother Tree Learning
What to ExpectSister Soul Care is a full-day retreat devoted to rest as a pathway back to self. This experience is intentionally designed for those who are feeling the weight of constant doing, holding, tending, and are ready to soften into a space of receiving.
Rooted in the teachings of Rest Is Resistance by Tricia Hersey of The Nap Ministry, this retreat invites a deeper exploration of rest as both a personal and collective practice. Together, we will gently examine our relationship with rest, who taught us how to rest, what narratives we’ve internalized around productivity, and what it means to reclaim rest as a birthright.
❋ Gentle Yoga Practice A slow, accessible movement practice to release tension, reconnect with the body, and prepare the nervous system
❋ Sound Bath ExperienceAn immersive journey into sound and vibration, allowing the body to soften and the mind to quiet. This practice supports energetic clearing, emotional release, and deep relaxation.
❋ Yoga Nidra (Yogi Sleep)A guided meditation practice designed to bring you into a state between wakefulness and sleep, where the body can rest deeply while the mind remains gently aware. This is a powerful space for restoration and integration
❋ Guided Journal + ReflectionUsing prompts inspired by the work of The Nap ministry, you will be invited to reflect on your personal relationship with rest, your capacity to receive, and the stories you are ready to release
